Make a difference

Kiva.org - Micro Investments that defeat poverty for good.

Kiva is a non-profit that allows you to lend as little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur in the developing world.  You choose who to lend to - whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq - and as they repay their loan, you get your money back.  It’s a powerful and sustainable way to empower someone right now to lift themselves out of poverty.

Heart for India.

 News from China

Friends work in the province next to Sichuan.  They are doing some great work among the locals.  The reports are sensitive.  If you would like to see what is happening, contact us and we will arrange for you to recieve the emails from their Australian source.   They have been able to send some very targeted medical aid into the worst of the earthquake affected area.

Radio Evangelism

Friends living among an Islamic community that is profoundly resistant to the Gospel are already making local language Gospel broadcasts.  They have an opportunity to establish a studio that will save much time and money and allow greater safety for those who do the work.  This is a remarkable opportunity to allow the Gospel to go to an unreached people group.  Again - reports are sensitive.  Please contact us if you would like to know what is happening and how you can be involved.

Peace Christian Community - Redcliffe Qld

"At PCC were are nowhere near where we are meant to be, but the wonderful thing is that everyone there knows we are on a journey, and the future is going to be different to what it is now, and that’s what’s so good about it – not having to defend institutional entrapment anymore."     (Mark Setch)
